Bob's Story
Bob works hard at his full-time job and gives his employer more than their money's worth. But Bob's real passion is working on his invention, which he does faithfully every night. After years of hard work, Bob has perfected a working model. He wants to arrange for manufacturing, but he's afraid to discuss his invention because someone might steal it. He thinks a patent might be a good idea, but he knows that the process of getting a patent can be very expensive. He thinks about writing and filing a provisional application on his own, but he reads an article describing how dangerous this strategy can be. He thinks he might be better off getting a professional search done first, but even that can cost hundreds of dollars. He is afraid to waste his hard earned money, so he just keeps waiting - putting off the chance at his dreams.
